Cristian Fernado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mark Elzer in the 3rd minute of the match. SV Bad Harzburg's Mark Elzer saw an opening behind the goalie Cristian Fernado in the 3rdth minute and tried to shoot past into the top right corner, but with great reflexes Cristian Fernado with one arm managed to save the shot in the last secound. When Eulalio Jenaro came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Perros del sur fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eulalio Jenaro couldn't finish the play. SV Bad Harzburg's Tim Wiese played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Lizardi in the 8th minute of play. The throw-in from Unai Cobos in the 14th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by SV Bad Harzburg's Willi Rau. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Cristian Fernado successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 17th match minute, SV Bad Harzburg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by John Rambo to maneuver through the defense. If Marcos Silviano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SV Bad Harzburg's Halldor Sönksen got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristian Fernado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Schira in the 28th minute of the match. Cristian Fernado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lars Schira's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. SV Bad Harzburg's attentive Willi Rau managed to snatch the ball when Marcos Lauren made a throw-in in the 36th minute of the game. 38 minutes into the match, SV Bad Harzburg's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Viator came free, but Tim Wiese reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mark Elzer got free with Cristian Fernado in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Perros del sur's Donato Viator got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eulalio Jenaro during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 44th match minute, Perros del sur was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eulalio Jenaro to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, SV Bad Harzburg's Willi Rau got a free kick in the 46th minute. Tim Wiese made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Silviano in the 47th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mark Elzer to make the kick off. Lars Schira's late challenge caught a Perros del sur's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lars Schira helped the player get up and apologised. 57 minutes into the match, Perros del sur's goal looked a bit too open when Mark Elzer came free, but Cristian Fernado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teo Cesario got free with Tim Wiese in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Perros del sur were awarded a corner in the 59th minute after SV Bad Harzburg's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Unai Cobos took the corner. Perros del sur's Unai Cobos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tim Wiese in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Marcos Silviano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Tim Wiese tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Fernado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mark Elzer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Perros del sur's Teo Cesario got a free kick in the 76th minute. Mark Elzer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Willi Rau hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute Halldor Sönksen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Fernado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Fernado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mark Elzer, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 91st match minute, SV Bad Harzburg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Schira to maneuver through the defense. Perros del sur were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
