An unexpectedly hard shot by Mesut Özil in the 7th minute of play forced De Boedo Vengo's goalkeeper Victorino Haimar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Nyman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Eugen Remus made a huge save. The supporters of Greenbay booed when De Boedo Vengo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Laurentzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eugen Remus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastian Nyman in the 16th minute. With an all-out effort, De Boedo Vengo's Eugen Remus threw himself towards the right post 24 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ronaldo Schiavi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 25 minutes into the match, Greenbay's goalkeeper Eugen Remus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastian Nyman. Jose Nesto hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Victorino Haimar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andre Shakespeare, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After a rather tough play, De Boedo Vengo's Placido Jenaro got a free kick in the 41st minute. When Mesut Özil fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Greenbay's protests and gave Mesut Özil a yellow card for diving instead. De Boedo Vengo's Filomeno Satordi was substituted for King Modrić. A collision led to Greenbay getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Mesut Özil hit a great ball. In the 45th minute of the match Placido Jenaro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eugen Remus showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The De Boedo Vengo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Greenbay were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gino Custódio made a kick off. Mesut Özil kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gino Custódio during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Will Alderson fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Greenbay's supporters rose to their feet, but Andre Shakespeare was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victorino Haimar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 72nd minute, Orhan Veli Nazil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eugen Remus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Laurentzi in the 77th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mesut Özil got free with Victorino Haimar in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of De Boedo Vengo booed when Greenbay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mesut Özil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victorino Haimar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Will Alderson in the 87th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Sebastian Nyman notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Greenbay's Eugen Remus. Eugen Remus was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jose Nesto kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Andre Shakespeare fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorino Haimar having to interfere. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. De Boedo Vengo were victorious despite being under pressure from Greenbay for much of the match.
