The audience thought a goal was coming when Gerardo Etxepare got free with Eric Fredriksson in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 17thth minute of the game Ove Lundgren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Rene Bermund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rene Bermund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hjalmar Helström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 22 minutes, Mauro Montes made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Balders Hage IF's Eric Fredriksson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Mauro Montes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Balders Hage IF's Eric Fredriksson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Balders Hage IF from getting a goal against them. In the 32nd minute, Valter Volberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute, Allan Hammarberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Balders Hage IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 40 minutes into the game, Sigvard Brask cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Patricio Asur the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Patricio Asur had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Patricio Asur got a free kick in the 46th minute. In the 47th minute of the match, Sakarias Skytt sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Rene Bermund showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sigvard Brask stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC booed when Balders Hage IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radowit Zerde didn't get a good kick on the ball.
