Esteve Tartalo kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Boca Juniors's Elof Abrahamsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Boca Juniors from getting a goal against them. Elof Abrahamsson made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Anibal Cresenciano sent off a good shot on target. Elof Abrahamsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lisandro Gorosti, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Helge Bolander charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Helge Bolander the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alan Velasco received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Elof Abrahamsson came out and tried to block the shot, but Alan Velasco slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 20th minute. Boca Juniors's Elof Abrahamsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteban Cambiasso in the 22nd minute of play. Esteve Tartalo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Elof Abrahamsson made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Lisandro Gorosti took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Elof Abrahamsson to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Boca Juniors getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Gunnar Smed hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Boca Juniors's Egon Vennersten got a free kick in the 35th minute. After 39 played minutes, Curumalán AFC's Delmiro Eguzki shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Elof Abrahamsson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Curumalán AFC reached it. Elof Abrahamsson was a little too slow when Alan Velasco got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 5-0. After 43 played minutes Curumalán AFC got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Cambiasso. Alan Velasco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Elof Abrahamsson made a huge save.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Egon Vennersten was the one to do the kick off. Elof Abrahamsson came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Curumalán AFC's Esteban Cambiasso. But to his dismay, Esteban Cambiasso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. In the 57th minute Esteban Cambiasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elof Abrahamsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lisandro Gorosti scored 7-0 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elof Abrahamsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Elof Abrahamsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lisandro Gorosti in the 63rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Boca Juniors defense, Alan Velasco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elof Abrahamsson. The Boca Juniors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elof Abrahamsson should have stopped the shot. Egon Vennersten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lisandro Gorosti in the 72nd minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Elof Abrahamsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 80 played minutes Curumalán AFC got a freekick which was hit by Esteve Tartalo. After having played for 84 minutes, Egon Vennersten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boca Juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Egon Vennersten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Boca Juniors defense, Esteban Cambiasso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elof Abrahamsson. The Boca Juniors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elof Abrahamsson should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Boca Juniors's Karhe Do Dachri got a free kick in the 90th minute. Elof Abrahamsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anibal Cresenciano in the 92nd minute of play. 93 minutes into the game, Esteban Cambiasso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 11-0. Elof Abrahamsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jon Valrot hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. In the 97th minute Alan Velasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elof Abrahamsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Curumalán AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
