Phil Naylor took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacinto Leoiar. Jacinto Leoiar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 25 minutes into the match, Matheu City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Todd Griffiths came free, but Jacinto Leoiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute Leo Bean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Leoiar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by Matheu City FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Todd Griffiths was slow to take the kick. During this time Heavenly Hooters's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jon Elliot in the 30th minute of play forced Matheu City FC's goalkeeper Jacinto Leoiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the game, Venancio Leoiar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Damaso Unax made a kick off. Phil Naylor's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jacinto Leoiar firmly grabbed it by the left post. Heavenly Hooters were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
