Rebelution's Victor Evis got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 7 played minutes Deadly Force United got a freekick which was hit by Rudy Weygaerts. José Ponce's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Robbin Van Leemputte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Mauricio Cebo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Alessandro Ceci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the match, Rebelution's José Ponce sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Robbin Van Leemputte narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Rebelution fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Rebelution's José Ponce looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A hard shot 31 in the game by José Ponce from a close distance when the talented Robbin Van Leemputte managed to make a qualified save. Deadly Force United's players were relieved. Mauricio Cebo kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Deadly Force United's Robbin Van Leemputte proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Deadly Force United from getting a goal against them. 38 minutes into the game, Anier Tristan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Desiderio Chorache was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 44 minutes into the match, Victor Evis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Robbin Van Leemputte. Deadly Force United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victor Evis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José Ponce made a kick off. After 52 minutes, José Ponce made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Deadly Force United's Robbin Van Leemputte tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Victor Evis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Robbin Van Leemputte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robbin Van Leemputte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Evis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 57 minutes, Eric Oosters mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deadly Force United and the Rebelution players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Deadly Force United's Eric Oosters got a free kick in the 57th minute. Robbin Van Leemputte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Evis, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Robbin Van Leemputte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Ponce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Eric Oosters had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alessandro Ceci took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Desiderio Chorache. Desiderio Chorache dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Rebelution's Desiderio Chorache proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Rebelution from getting a goal against them. Robbin Van Leemputte stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of José Ponce's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. After a rather tough play, Deadly Force United's Eric Oosters got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 89th minute, José Ponce made a precise shot to the right of Robbin Van Leemputte. Deadly Force United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. Robbin Van Leemputte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Evis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 94 played minutes Deadly Force United got a freekick which was hit by Alessandro Ceci. In the 96th minute, José Ponce ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Robbin Van Leemputte was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2.
