Abel Ramalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 9 played minutes Ricart Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Abel Ramalho. In the 13th minute, Abel Ramalho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nicolas Bastos. The goal made the score 2-0. When Olavo Loyola fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's protests and gave Olavo Loyola a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ricart Futebol Clube booed when Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olavo Loyola didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicolas Bastos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Ramalho in the 18th minute of play. A collision led to Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Olavo Loyola hit a great ball. Reinaldo Palmeira came free with the goalkeeper in the 22nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nicolas Bastos could save by the left post. Ricart Futebol Clube's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Reinaldo Palmeira in the 23rd minute. A very nice done corner allowed Frank de Moraes to score against Nicolas Bastos in Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's goal. 3-0 after 23 minutes. In the 27th match minute, Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui de Mendonça to maneuver through the defense. Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's Nicolas Bastos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Ramalho in the 27th minute of play. When Ricart Futebol Clube's Abel Ramalho in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's goalie prevented a goal. Geovânio Gerber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 39th minute, Hans-Jürgen Beckenbauer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ booed when Ricart Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Ramalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Ricart Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Caco Abreu came free, but Willian Valladares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olavo Loyola kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Cipriano Baeza made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Abel Ramalho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Nicolas Bastos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Ricart Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Rubens Neves hit a great ball. Nicolas Bastos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abel Ramalho went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. After 70 minutes, Luís Guilherme Reis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ and the Ricart Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ricart Futebol Clube's Dudu de Brito was substituted for Abel Ramalho. In the 72nd match minute, Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Guilherme Reis to maneuver through the defense. Ricart Futebol Clube's Nuno Fernandez managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Olavo Loyola in the 77 minute of the game. Nicolas Bastos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dudu de Brito in the 78th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Dudu de Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ricart Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Dudu de Brito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicolas Bastos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dudu de Brito struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Nicolas Bastos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ricart Futebol Clube. Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dudu de Brito was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. There was no doubt that Ricart Futebol Clube were the better team. Ricart Futebol Clube's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
