If Robby Rokeloos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Franky Dhollander's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Flavio Medardo was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Santos Lekubegi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Zacarias Mikelar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quebracho FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SK Dreigoten the free kick. SK Dreigoten's Gustaaf Libesoons was substituted for Johny Waegemans. Flavio Medardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franky Dhollander in the 96th minute of the match. SK Dreigoten walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
