Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marco Palomar took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 6 minutes, Marco Palomar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vetusta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco Palomar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 12th minute Marco Palomar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens Bohlin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Vetusta booed when The Charlatans was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt-Arne Ahlroht didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Vetusta's goal looked a bit too open when Sune Almqvist came free, but Isidor Sirvent reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind The Charlatans's goalkeeper Jens Bohlin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Isidor Sirvent showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harald Karlsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 25 minutes into the game, The Charlatans's Harald Karlsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Isidor Sirvent made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Marco Palomar might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jens Bohlin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marco Palomar ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 30th minute Marco Palomar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens Bohlin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jens Bohlin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Palomar in the 32nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Vetusta's Iosu Toxeiro got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 42nd minute Tor Ekström managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. 44 minutes into the match, Vetusta's goal looked a bit too open when Sune Almqvist came free, but Isidor Sirvent reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 46 minutes of play, Vetusta's Lain Obis made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jens Bohlin was left in no man's land by his defense there! The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Harald Karlsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Marco Palomar came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Vetusta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Palomar couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Marco Palomar sped through The Charlatans's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jens Bohlin. Lain Obis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Jens Bohlin made a huge save. If Marco Palomar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 58 minutes into the match, The Charlatans's goalkeeper Jens Bohlin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marco Palomar. Jens Bohlin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Palomar in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st match minute, Vetusta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lain Obis to maneuver through the defense. Isidor Sirvent took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sune Almqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute, Marco Palomar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jens Bohlin was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Isidor Sirvent showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sune Almqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marco Palomar in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jens Bohlin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 84th minute, Marco Palomar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in The Charlatans's zone, Nicolás Rua stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jens Bohlin came out of the goal and Nicolás Rua tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 93rd match minute, Vetusta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lain Obis to maneuver through the defense. The The Charlatans supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Vetusta's performance. The match ended with a win for Vetusta.
