Through an outstanding action, after 23 minutes, Fermin Garoa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Los Hijos de Doña Beija's supporters crossed their fingers, but Domingo Salvidor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carmelo Claus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Fermin Garoa made a huge save. Guaberto Lluc took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fermin Garoa. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Guaberto Lluc to make the kick off. The LosAndes666 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fermin Garoa should have stopped the shot. Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Mauricio Amato got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luigi Gatti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casimiro Colon, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 94th minute Los Hijos de Doña Beija were awarded a corner. Domingo Salvidor went to the cornerflag to take it.
