In the 15th minute Wágner Monteiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaac Chuan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chelco FC's Isaac Chuan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wágner Monteiro in the 17th minute of play. After 18 minutes of play, Clube Audax Metropolitano's Wágner Monteiro made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isaac Chuan was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 25th minute Leonardo Aznaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dráuzio Pena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucas-Ignacio Torres struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Isaac Chuan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clube Audax Metropolitano. Chelco FC's Isaac Chuan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wágner Monteiro in the 32nd minute of play. Isaac Chuan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wágner Monteiro in the 42nd minute of play. If Lindo Ganso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clube Audax Metropolitano's Naldo Esteves was substituted for Benê Veiga. 48 minutes into the match, Wágner Monteiro notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Chelco FC's Isaac Chuan. Isaac Chuan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Clube Audax Metropolitano were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lindo Ganso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dráuzio Pena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lindo Ganso, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lindo Ganso in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dráuzio Pena prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Clube Audax Metropolitano's goalie and right to Victorino Quirze. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Clube Audax Metropolitano's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 61stth minute of the game Wágner Monteiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chelco FC's Isaac Chuan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Chelco FC's Supreme Madera got a free kick in the 62nd minute. The supporters of Clube Audax Metropolitano booed when Chelco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Supreme Madera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isaac Chuan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wágner Monteiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chelco FC's goalkeeper Isaac Chuan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Chelco FC's Isaac Chuan got control of the ball when Wágner Monteiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wágner Monteiro in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isaac Chuan saved Chelco FC from getting behind. 72 minutes into the match, Chelco FC's goalkeeper Isaac Chuan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Artur Reis. Isaac Chuan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wágner Monteiro in the 77th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wágner Monteiro got free with Isaac Chuan in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Isaac Chuan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wágner Monteiro in the 92nd minute. 93 minutes into the match, Artur Reis notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of Chelco FC's Isaac Chuan. Isaac Chuan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Isaac Chuan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wágner Monteiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Clube Audax Metropolitano walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
