Fotis Melas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Dennis Rhoades made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aleksander Brzakala in the 24th minute of play forced Persepolis F.C.'s goalkeeper Dennis Rhoades to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Fotis Melas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dennis Rhoades was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. After 64 minutes of play, Lipochσrion FC's Fotis Melas made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dennis Rhoades was left in no man's land by his defense there! 68 minutes into the match, Persepolis F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Fotis Melas came free, but Dennis Rhoades reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute of the match Lipochσrion FC got a corner. Persepolis F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. A collision led to Lipochσrion FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Pantelis Mamidakis hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Fotis Melas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lipochσrion FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fotis Melas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dennis Rhoades breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Persepolis F.C.'s Everett Swartz got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After having played for 88 minutes, Fotis Melas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lipochσrion FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fotis Melas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Persepolis F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Fotis Melas came free, but Dennis Rhoades reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Theagenis Giannou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arden Poulin in the 93rd minute of the match. Lipochσrion FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
