An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomasz Pankowski in the 10th minute of play forced Kind of Blue's goalkeeper Stormur Muren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute, Alfred Michalski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stormur Muren was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Viktor Sillén could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Witold Dec made a huge save. Alfred Michalski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Stormur Muren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Åke Rosendahl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Witold Dec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eugeniusz Drebit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stormur Muren having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Viktor Sillén in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Witold Dec saved ↖ Sagittarius ↗ from getting behind. The supporters of Kind of Blue booed when ↖ Sagittarius ↗ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Witold Majusiak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Witold Dec was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Samuel Asplund. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Viktor Sillén took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Witold Dec to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, ↖ Sagittarius ↗'s Tomasz Pankowski got a free kick in the 41st minute. Witold Dec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Åke Rosendahl in the 42nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Åke Rosendahl took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Witold Dec to make any attempt to save it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfred Michalski was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, ↖ Sagittarius ↗'s goal looked a bit too open when Viktor Sillén came free, but Witold Dec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Åke Rosendahl in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Witold Dec prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Karl-Åke Lundberg kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. If Eugeniusz Drebit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in ↖ Sagittarius ↗'s zone, Petter Abrahamsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Witold Dec came out of the goal and Petter Abrahamsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to ↖ Sagittarius ↗ getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Bogdan Mikulski hit a great ball. In the 66th minute of the match Samuel Asplund shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Witold Dec showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, ↖ Sagittarius ↗'s Witold Majusiak got a free kick in the 67th minute. 68 minutes into the game, one of ↖ Sagittarius ↗:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Kind of Blue a penalty, 70 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Samuel Asplund, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of ↖ Sagittarius ↗'s Witold Dec. 4-2. In the 72nd match minute, ↖ Sagittarius ↗ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliks Marut to maneuver through the defense. After 73 played minutes, Kind of Blue's Samuel Asplund shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Witold Dec came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kind of Blue reached it. Witold Dec didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Viktor Sillén went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. Kind of Blue's Åke Rosendahl got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 79th match minute, ↖ Sagittarius ↗ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliks Marut to maneuver through the defense. Samuel Asplund took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Witold Dec. ↖ Sagittarius ↗'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Tomasz Pankowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. ↖ Sagittarius ↗'s supporters rose to their feet, but Tomasz Pankowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stormur Muren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 86th minute, Tomasz Pankowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The attack was good, but when Åke Rosendahl in the 88th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 94 minutes into the match, ↖ Sagittarius ↗'s goal looked a bit too open when Åke Rosendahl came free, but Witold Dec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ↖ Sagittarius ↗'s Witold Dec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viktor Sillén in the 95th minute of play. The supporters of ↖ Sagittarius ↗ booed when Kind of Blue was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per Tunberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 97th match minute, ↖ Sagittarius ↗ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bogdan Mikulski to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the ↖ Sagittarius ↗ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Kind of Blue.
