A collision led to Montesclarense E.C. getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Mazinho Barral hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the match, Montesclarense E.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Chan Clet came free, but Orlando Dante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute Chan Clet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Dante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute of the match, Nicolas Sousa got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cyryl Barys was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.
