Julio Quinten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Tomás Berau in the 8th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Pedro Tomás Berau made a precise shot to the right of Julio Quinten. Sajones F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Julio Quinten made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Bartolomé Romero sent off a good shot on target. Julio Quinten didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedro Tomás Berau went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Tomás Berau during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Sajones F.C. booed when U. de Tarapacá was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Tomás Berau didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nunez Quinteros in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eusebio Portillo saved U. de Tarapacá from getting behind. When Bartolomé Romero fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored U. de Tarapacá's protests and gave Bartolomé Romero a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, U. de Tarapacá's Bartolomé Romero got a free kick in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

53 minutes into the match, Sajones F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Tomás Berau came free, but Julio Quinten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonatan Herauso was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 57 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute, one of Sajones F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sajones F.C.. Julio Quinten had in the 59thth minute some difficulties stopping Xalvador Quijada's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Julio Quinten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Tomás Berau, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. A collision led to U. de Tarapacá getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Xalvador Quijada hit a great ball. In the 66th match minute, U. de Tarapacá was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xalvador Quijada to maneuver through the defense. Ismael Ler's late challenge caught a U. de Tarapacá's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
