FC Hackspett U21's attentive Jakob Bergqvist managed to snatch the ball when Gilberto Domenec made a throw-in in the 18th minute of the game. Luganeros AFC's Christian Giraldo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Luganeros AFC from getting a goal against them. Christian Giraldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ted Högman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Hackspett U21's Jakob Bergqvist quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gilberto Domenec, made in the 27th minute of the game. In the 31st minute, Ted Högman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jan-Åke Bokelund was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 36 minutes into the match. Jan-Åke Bokelund hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Hackspett U21's zone, Adrian Efren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olov Rosendal came out of the goal and Adrian Efren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gustavo Feliu hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Olov Rosendal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Feliu, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The FC Hackspett U21 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Luganeros AFC were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ludwig Olenberg made a kick off. FC Hackspett U21's Ludwig Olenberg got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 59 minutes, Lars-Erik Klemensson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Hackspett U21 and the Luganeros AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Olov Rosendal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustavo Feliu in the 71st minute. A collision led to Luganeros AFC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Lino Remigio hit a great ball. In the 77th minute, Gustavo Feliu made a precise shot to the right of Olov Rosendal. FC Hackspett U21's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Luganeros AFC made a substitution. Ermegildo Jobo replaced Gustavo Feliu. Oskar Biörnberg kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Abel Fanuco received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Olov Rosendal came out and tried to block the shot, but Abel Fanuco slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 84th minute. Olov Rosendal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ermegildo Jobo in the 87th minute. 90 minutes into the match, FC Hackspett U21's goalkeeper Olov Rosendal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ermegildo Jobo. Adrian Efren received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Olov Rosendal came out and tried to block the shot, but Adrian Efren slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 91st minute. In the 96th match minute, FC Hackspett U21 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jakob Bergqvist to maneuver through the defense. FC Hackspett U21's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Abel Fanuco 99 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-5. Luganeros AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
