The audience thought a goal was coming when Alex Aliprando got free with Luiz Pombal in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Obrero Barquisimeto's Pepe Concellon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celsinho Dionísio in the 14th minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Cristiano Chanza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 24 minutes, Belasko Tirado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Obrero Barquisimeto and the Brasiliense FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 23 minutes into the game, one of Obrero Barquisimeto:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Brasiliense FC a penalty, 25 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Nuno Dantas, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Obrero Barquisimeto's Pepe Concellon. 0-1. In the 27th minute, Celsinho Dionísio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lúcio Furtado's late challenge caught a Obrero Barquisimeto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lúcio Furtado helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Brasiliense FC's Lúcio Furtado got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 34th match minute, Obrero Barquisimeto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Belasko Tirado to maneuver through the defense. The Brasiliense FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. If Celsinho Dionísio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Brasiliense FC's Júlio Lago got a free kick in the 64th minute. Obrero Barquisimeto's defense didn't have a chance, in the 70th minute, when Celsinho Dionísio scored to the left of an out of position Pepe Concellon, making the score, 0-3. In the 76th minute, Celsinho Dionísio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brasiliense FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Luiz Pombal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otilio Galindez in the 79th minute of the match. Nuno Dantas's late challenge caught a Obrero Barquisimeto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nuno Dantas helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Aliprando in the 87th minute of play forced Brasiliense FC's goalkeeper Luiz Pombal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvério Carneiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Pepe Concellon made a huge save. The supporters of Obrero Barquisimeto booed when Brasiliense FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celsinho Dionísio didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Obrero Barquisimeto supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Brasiliense FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Brasiliense FC.
