João Vítor Linhares hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. MINEIROS's Serginho Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artur Lytvynchuk in the 15th minute of play. Joel Quadros blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valentyn Shuga having to make a save. Vladyslav Tovt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Serginho Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danylo Zayets in the 26th minute of play. Toninho Goiano received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Valentyn Shuga came out and tried to block the shot, but Toninho Goiano slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 28th minute. Serginho Taffarel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yarema Rybka went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. FC Galicia Lviv's Valentyn Shuga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save FC Galicia Lviv from getting a goal against them. Zakhar Severyn kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 42nd minute of the match João Vítor Linhares sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Valentyn Shuga skillfully saved the ball. Toninho Goiano received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Valentyn Shuga came out and tried to block the shot, but Toninho Goiano slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 44th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vladyslav Tovt to strike the kick off in the second half. After 50 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Galicia Lviv! Vladyslav Tovt kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Joel Quadros left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MINEIROS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. After a rather tough play, FC Galicia Lviv's Dmytro Zorya got a free kick in the 61st minute. MINEIROS made a substitution. Nico de Mendonça replaced Joel Quadros. In the 70th play minute Danylo Zayets came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Serginho Taffarel. 4-2. MINEIROS's Christian Fernandes was substituted for Vágner Gaspar. 75 minutes into the match, MINEIROS's goalkeeper Serginho Taffarel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kostyantyn Svintsitskyi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toninho Goiano in the 79th minute of play forced FC Galicia Lviv's goalkeeper Valentyn Shuga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Toninho Goiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentyn Shuga having to interfere. A collision led to MINEIROS getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Nilson de Souza hit a great ball. Dmytro Zorya's late challenge caught a MINEIROS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dmytro Zorya helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC Galicia Lviv getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Dmytro Zorya hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toninho Goiano in the 91st minute of play forced FC Galicia Lviv's goalkeeper Valentyn Shuga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Galicia Lviv's goalkeeper Valentyn Shuga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Nico de Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
