Spectators: 170 (Terracing: 128, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Maurín Dagnino kicked off to start the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Ricardo Tavares managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C. Paços de Ferreira's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardo Tavares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Severino Taylor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 11 minutes into the match, Baez FC's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Azevedo came free, but Severino Taylor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, F.C. Paços de Ferreira's goalkeeper Mauro Ribas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martino Goyenechea. Gerardo Villalón came free with the goalkeeper in the 16th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mauro Ribas could save by the left post. 16 minutes into the game, Normando Neto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C. Paços de Ferreira's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Baez FC the free kick. In the 16th match minute, F.C. Paços de Ferreira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Normando Neto to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Campos's late challenge caught a Baez FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Campos helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to F.C. Paços de Ferreira getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Pedro Campos hit a great ball. A throw-in in the 37th minute of the game was made by Juan Jose Mac Kenzie with Maurino Verschueren as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 54th minute, Jorge Sabrosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 57 minutes into the game, Maurilio Mendoza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Mauro Ribas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. F.C. Paços de Ferreira's Mauro Ribas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurino Verschueren in the 60th minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Martino Goyenechea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mauro Ribas was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 73rd minute, Pedro Campos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Baez FC booed when F.C. Paços de Ferreira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sílvio Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Maurín Dagnino came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Baez FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maurín Dagnino couldn't finish the play. Severino Taylor made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Manuel Azevedo sent off a good shot on target. Baez FC's Severino Taylor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Azevedo in the 93rd minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Baez FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
