Spectators: 156 (Terracing: 117, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Severino Odon made the kick off which started today's match. Benito Araoz hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reinaert Van den Inde during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jurgen Vervaeck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benito Araoz in the 7th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Severino Odon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jurgen Vervaeck. Anversa Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Severino Odon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Anversa Club's Reinaert Vlimmens got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jurgen Vervaeck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Severino Odon in the 20th minute. Anversa Club's Jurgen Vervaeck proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Anversa Club from getting a goal against them. 24 minutes into the match, German Uhin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jurgen Vervaeck, 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Severino Odon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jurgen Vervaeck. That made the score 3-0 in the 26 minute of play. Amadeo Rio came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Anversa Club's Marten Pelegrims. But to his dismay, Marten Pelegrims quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. 34 minutes into the game, Anversa Club's Reinaert Van den Inde nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amadeo Rio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. 36 minutes into the match, Anversa Club's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Odon came free, but Jurgen Vervaeck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Jurgen Vervaeck successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 41 minutes into the match, Anversa Club's goalkeeper Jurgen Vervaeck had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Severino Odon. Benito Araoz kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Jerome De Fauw's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amadeo Rio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marten Pelegrims to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Manuel Henry notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Anversa Club's Jurgen Vervaeck. Jurgen Vervaeck was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 56th minute, Marten Pelegrims left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Anversa Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. In the 60th minute Anversa Club were awarded a corner. Jerome De Fauw went to the cornerflag to take it. Anversa Club's Jerome De Fauw was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Amadeo Rio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reinaert Van den Inde got free with Amadeo Rio in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 62nd minute Severino Odon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jurgen Vervaeck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Manuel Henry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 73 played minutes Anversa Club got a freekick which was hit by Reinaert Van den Inde. Jurgen Vervaeck came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by independiente's Severino Odon. But to his dismay, Severino Odon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-4. Jurgen Vervaeck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Henry in the 80th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Reinaert Vlimmens had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amadeo Rio. independiente's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Reinaert Vlimmens was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-5. 94 minutes into the match, Severino Odon notched a goal, 6-5, to the right of Anversa Club's Jurgen Vervaeck. Jurgen Vervaeck was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The independiente fans cheered their team off the field, for while Anversa Club had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
