Wolf Poll didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Loco Team FC. After 4 played minutes Tiger got a freekick which was hit by Wolfgang Schürhoff. In the 5th minute of the match Mark Talavera shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wolf Poll showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Wolf Poll made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Calisto Olozaga in the 7th minute of play. After 11 minutes, Ysidro Cuenllas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Loco Team FC and the Tiger players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Loco Team FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Ysidro Cuenllas hit a great ball. Elis Färber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 15th minute, Albrecht Kowalke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guerau Centeno got free with Wolf Poll in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 20 minutes, Ysidro Cuenllas made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Tiger's Wolf Poll tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 29th minute, Ulrich Pickartz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tiger fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The supporters of Loco Team FC booed when Tiger was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wolfgang Schürhoff didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute, Elis Färber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Calisto Olozaga made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Elis Färber reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Teyo Guiral. The goal made the score 1-2. Calisto Olozaga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Wolf Poll tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Loco Team FC made a substitution. Txema Vuelvetoros replaced Navarro Atienza. Calisto Olozaga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tiger's Axel Schäuble was substituted for Albrecht Kowalke. Guerau Centeno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wolf Poll having to interfere. Teyo Guiral stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ulrich Pickartz's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. In the 76th minute Tiger were awarded a corner. Arvid Wacker went to the cornerflag to take it. Arne Herber kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Elis Färber's late challenge caught a Loco Team FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elis Färber helped the player get up and apologised. Elis Färber hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After 82 played minutes Tiger got a freekick which was hit by Elis Färber. Mark Talavera took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Wolf Poll. Tiger's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Teyo Guiral acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 85th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Arne Herber. Wolf Poll showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Calisto Olozaga, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. When the match was over Tiger could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Loco Team FC throughout the match.
