Hernan Florian came out of the goal and Reginaldo Bastos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Giovani Diniz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Hernan Florian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Alfa FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Luís Guilherme Zonta hit a great ball. Reginaldo Bastos charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reginaldo Bastos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 21 played minutes Alfa FC got a freekick which was hit by Reginaldo Bastos. Léo Rosado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gonzalo Rutenio's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. In the 24th match minute, Alfa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Guilherme Zonta to maneuver through the defense. Leo Enetz charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leo Enetz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 32nd minute, Leo Enetz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, INTER de Córdoba's Leo Enetz got a free kick in the 34th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Giovani Diniz in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hernan Florian saved INTER de Córdoba from getting behind. Cléber Lucas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Hernan Florian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. INTER de Córdoba's Gonzalo Rutenio got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gonzalo Rutenio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nicolas Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernan Florian having to interfere. Cipriano Dalmu's late challenge caught a Alfa FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cipriano Dalmu helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Cléber Lucas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alfa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cléber Lucas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hernan Florian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 65th match minute, INTER de Córdoba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dante Dorio to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute, Luís Guilherme Zonta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Léo Rosado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Rutenio in the 81st minute of play. INTER de Córdoba's Hernan Florian proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save INTER de Córdoba from getting a goal against them.
