In the 26th match minute, Club Brugge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Rouvroys to maneuver through the defense. After 27 played minutes, Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Fabian Remir shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Giles Valkeneers came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Giles Valkeneers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Crottos Crotters F.C. played a much better game than Club Brugge and deserved their victory. The Club Brugge players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
