The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rémy Jacquey might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anders Martinsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rémy Jacquey ran back to his position shaking his head. Désiré Verdy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Karlsson in the 13th minute of the match. Arvin Wassenius hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rémy Jacquey in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anders Martinsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 24 minutes into the match, Rémy Jacquey had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anders Martinsson. Shqiponja FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rémy Jacquey was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 32nd minute, Rémy Jacquey made a precise shot to the right of Anders Martinsson. Shqiponja FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Rémy Jacquey blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anders Martinsson having to make a save. In the 35th minute Rémy Jacquey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anders Martinsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, Mathias Decaux cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Anders Martinsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Versannat's Marouane Lengrand got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Anders Martinsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from François Jannot in the 45th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Richard Hammarström made the kick off in the second half. François Jannot blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anders Martinsson having to make a save. Mathias Decaux received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Anders Martinsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anders Martinsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rémy Jacquey in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th match minute, Versannat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sébastian Mory to maneuver through the defense. Ivan Karlsson hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. François Jannot kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. The supporters of Shqiponja FC booed when Versannat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. François Jannot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rémy Jacquey blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anders Martinsson having to make a save. The supporters of Shqiponja FC booed when Versannat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rémy Jacquey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Richard Hammarström could shoot a difficult shot in the 92nd minute, which Désiré Verdy however easily saved by the left post. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Versannat fans cheered their team off the field, for while Shqiponja FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
