Spectators: 196 (Terracing: 148, Seating: 45, VIP seats: 3) Gordon Alderson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabriel Evarado in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ian McVey saved Smiddy Celts from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Gabriel Evarado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ian McVey was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Smiddy Celts defense, Gabriel Evarado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ian McVey. The Smiddy Celts fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ian McVey should have stopped the shot. Ian McVey didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gabriel Evarado went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robbie McAdam got free with Godofredo Raymond in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ian McVey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Evarado in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th match minute, Mística Pincharrata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Evarado to maneuver through the defense. Ian McVey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomiro Abaurre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 30 minutes of play, Mística Pincharrata's Gabriel Evarado made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ian McVey was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 33rd minute, Bartolo Ortzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gabriel Evarado took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ian McVey. Ian McVey dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Ian McVey came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Mística Pincharrata's Gabriel Evarado. But to his dismay, Gabriel Evarado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. The supporters of Mística Pincharrata booed when Smiddy Celts was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. James McRurie didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Mística Pincharrata's Luisito Sauveur tried to score from far away in the 43rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Stewart Donlevy hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Gabriel Evarado succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-6 in the 52nd playminute. The crowd rose to their feet as Gabriel Evarado kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ian McVey. That made the score 0-7 in the 56 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Baldomiro Abaurre managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mística Pincharrata's supporters rose to their feet, but Baldomiro Abaurre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ian McVey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Smiddy Celts's Ian McVey got control of the ball when Maximiliano Crescencio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ian McVey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Evarado in the 64th minute of play. Smiddy Celts's Ian McVey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Smiddy Celts from getting a goal against them. In the 67th minute, Gordon Alderson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Godofredo Raymond was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-7. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Evarado in the 70th minute of play forced Smiddy Celts's goalkeeper Ian McVey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ian McVey stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabriel Evarado's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Maximiliano Crescencio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ian McVey having to interfere. With a little luck, Smiddy Celts's Ian McVey got control of the ball when Bartolo Ortzi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ciaran McGill's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Godofredo Raymond read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. The supporters of Smiddy Celts booed when Mística Pincharrata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ambrosio Silban didn't get a good kick on the ball.
