In the 34th minute Cătălin Mereuță shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciccio Pietropaolo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 35 played minutes Ugonotti got a freekick which was hit by Adriano Guadagnoli. After having played for 38 minutes, Francisc Vătavu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mihail Ştoia in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ciccio Pietropaolo prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The wind increased when Mihail Ştoia made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Ugonotti's goal looked a bit too open when Francisc Vătavu came free, but Ciccio Pietropaolo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuel Puișoru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Tabacco, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Cătălin Mereuță's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ciccio Pietropaolo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Mihail Ştoia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Ciccio Pietropaolo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th match minute, Ugonotti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Tabacco to maneuver through the defense. After 71 played minutes Ugonotti got a freekick which was hit by Comunardo De Rubeis. When Ugonotti's Bianco Colaussi in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye F.C.DrobetA-Știința-'s goalie prevented a goal. After 86 minutes of play, Ugonotti's Bianco Colaussi made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emanuel Puișoru was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Cătălin Mereuță came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the F.C.DrobetA-Știința- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cătălin Mereuță couldn't finish the play.
