Jörg Mackert made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Sylwester Marut sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, SV Bad Harzburg's Jörg Mackert got control of the ball when Szymon Szkarpiak tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 37th match minute, SV Bad Harzburg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gideon Weber to maneuver through the defense. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sören Humke was the one to do the kick off. SV Bad Harzburg's Jörg Mackert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Szymon Szkarpiak in the 55th minute of play. After 60 minutes of play, Kernsdorf SSA's Sylwester Marut made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jörg Mackert was left in no man's land by his defense there! 63 minutes into the match, Kernsdorf SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Sören Humke came free, but Witalis Gdowik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Janusz Pilipiec fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kernsdorf SSA's protests and gave Janusz Pilipiec a yellow card for diving instead. Witalis Gdowik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marc Rüsing in the 70th minute of the match. Jörg Mackert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofil Pieknik in the 80th minute of play. Witalis Gdowik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rocky Balboa, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After a rather tough play, Kernsdorf SSA's Sylwester Marut got a free kick in the 89th minute. The referee ignored SV Bad Harzburg's protests and gave Sören Humke a yellow card for diving instead. Sören Humke kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Janusz Pilipiec took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jörg Mackert. SV Bad Harzburg's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched SV Bad Harzburg eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
