Grzegorz Rasiak started the match with the kick off. A collision led to KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Hugon Majusiak hit a great ball. Gwidon Lichorobiec hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Olaf Gotfryd during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of CWKS KĘDZIERZYN booed when KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olaf Gotfryd didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Kazimierz Mierzejewski fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's protests and gave Kazimierz Mierzejewski a yellow card for diving instead. After 14 played minutes CWKS KĘDZIERZYN got a freekick which was hit by Kazimierz Mierzejewski. Wawrzyniec Wykowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bogdan Siekierski in the 16th minute of the match. After 16 minutes, Grzegorz Rasiak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CWKS KĘDZIERZYN and the KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 17th match minute, CWKS KĘDZIERZYN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grzegorz Rasiak to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's Grzegorz Rasiak got a free kick in the 21st minute. Pawel Zabrzeski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grzegorz Rasiak in the 25th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Fabian Siwy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pawel Zabrzeski was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Kazimierz Mierzejewski came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the CWKS KĘDZIERZYN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kazimierz Mierzejewski couldn't finish the play. In the 31st minute, Zbyszek Solibieda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stefan Rutkowski hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Bogdan Siekierski managed to get in a good position for a shot. KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's supporters rose to their feet, but Bogdan Siekierski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wawrzyniec Wykowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 43 minutes into the game, Bogdan Siekierski lined in a short shot 2-1 behind a frustrated Wawrzyniec Wykowski. After some careless play in the KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ defense, Fabian Siwy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pawel Zabrzeski. The KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pawel Zabrzeski should have stopped the shot. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bogdan Siekierski to make the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 60 minutes, Pawel Zabrzeski successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's Wawrzyniec Wykowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bogdan Siekierski in the 64th minute of play. Wawrzyniec Wykowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bogdan Siekierski in the 65th minute of the match. KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's Pawel Zabrzeski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kazimierz Mierzejewski in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kamilo Grositskiy in the 80th minute of play forced KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's goalkeeper Pawel Zabrzeski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's Stefan Rutkowski got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Wawrzyniec Wykowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maciej Lisewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The corner led KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's Maciej Lisewski to fire away a dangerous shot which Wawrzyniec Wykowski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.
