In the 6th minute Luis Celio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils-Åke Fristedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th minute Johnny Ekeroth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Miro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Ripa FC booed when Elefanterna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johnny Ekeroth didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 13 played minutes Ripa FC got a freekick which was hit by Generoso Florin. Nils-Åke Fristedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogelio Confesor, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Johnny Ekeroth cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Martin Miro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Elefanterna's Kristoffer Kellman got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Martin Miro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johnny Ekeroth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute Johnny Ekeroth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Miro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ripa FC's Martin Miro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tord Nyman in the 29th minute of play. If Eloy Jeraldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tord Nyman during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tord Nyman hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eloy Jeraldo made a kick off. Elefanterna's Nils-Åke Fristedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Confesor in the 51st minute of play. In the 56th minute Eloy Jeraldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils-Åke Fristedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Igor Vela charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Igor Vela the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 60th match minute, Ripa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Vela to maneuver through the defense. Nils-Åke Fristedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eloy Jeraldo in the 66th minute of play. Rogelio Confesor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72ndth minute of the game Rogelio Confesor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Elefanterna's Nils-Åke Fristedt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Igor Vela was shown his second yellow card after 74 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eloy Jeraldo in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nils-Åke Fristedt saved Elefanterna from getting behind. If Filip Jönsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Elefanterna had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
