But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelino Ermengol couldn't finish the play. With an all-out effort, Pendex's Carlinhos Berger threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vinicio Azubeli, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Carlinhos Berger was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, TaTeRo Boys's Carlinhos Berger got control of the ball when Abel Bermudez tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Bartolo Banegas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pendex's supporters rose to their feet, but Bartolo Banegas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlinhos Berger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle sounded Pendex left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than TaTeRo Boys.
