Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leonard Caragea might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dráusio das Neves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leonard Caragea ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 14th minute, Avram Nandriș left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Buffalo Timişoara fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 20 minutes into the match, Leonard Caragea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dráusio das Neves. Batalhão do Peçanha's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonard Caragea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. If Leonard Caragea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Batalhão do Peçanha defense, Cosmin Drăghincescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dráusio das Neves. The Batalhão do Peçanha fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dráusio das Neves should have stopped the shot. Dráusio das Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Pandrea in the 28th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Victor Pandrea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Dráusio das Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonard Caragea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonard Caragea's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 86thth minute, Dráusio das Neves skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 88 minutes into the match, Batalhão do Peçanha's goal looked a bit too open when Leonard Caragea came free, but Dráusio das Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Batalhão do Peçanha's goalkeeper Dráusio das Neves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 92nd minute, Buffalo Timişoara's Avram Nandriș ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dráusio das Neves. Dráusio das Neves yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Pandrea got free with Dráusio das Neves in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle sounded Buffalo Timişoara left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Batalhão do Peçanha.
