Luiz Fabiano Dias helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of SAS booed when Olivedos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Fabiano Dias didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 6 played minutes Olivedos got a freekick which was hit by Doni Senna. After 19 played minutes Olivedos got a freekick which was hit by Doni Senna. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling João Augusto Meireles in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patrick Miranda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 23 minutes of play, SAS's Umberto Camargo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Patrick Miranda was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of SAS booed when Olivedos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. A wasted opportunity for SAS. When Cafu Mandrak fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SAS's protests and gave Cafu Mandrak a yellow card for diving instead. Jonas Domingues took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cristiano Tepedino. SAS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Umberto Camargo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patrick Miranda was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Umberto Camargo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Miranda having to interfere. After the first half SAS were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Cafu Mandrak made the kick off in the second half. Cristiano Tepedino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Eduardo Ortiz in the 53rd minute of the match. But to his dismay, Luiz Eduardo Ortiz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Germano Bertassi scored 2-4 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patrick Miranda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 78th minute, Aníbal Marques left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olivedos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Renato Galvão in the 82nd minute of play forced SAS's goalkeeper Cristiano Tepedino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristiano Tepedino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Eduardo Ortiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. The supporters of Olivedos booed when SAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto da Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match was over SAS could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Olivedos throughout the match.
