After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Martin Kilström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Garsås IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Kilström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nae Costin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihai Negara in the 8th minute of play forced Garsås IF's goalkeeper Sven Askberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- booed when Garsås IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Hård didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sven Askberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicodim Voiculescu in the 13th minute of the match. A collision led to Garsås IF getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Charles Vennerdal hit a great ball. One of Garsås IF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-:s goal. Dacian Erbașu scored 0-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sven Askberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 24 minutes in the game Calistrat Bebeșel did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Dacian Erbașu. Dacian Erbașu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Martin Kilström's late challenge caught a Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Martin Kilström helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Garsås IF getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Martin Kilström hit a great ball. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Nae Costin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilhelm Hamnberg in the 89th minute of play. Sven Askberg was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Petre Benga capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Petre Benga really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. With an all-out effort, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Sven Askberg threw himself towards the right post 96 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Leontin Matei, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- played a much better game than Garsås IF and deserved their victory. The Garsås IF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
