An unexpectedly hard shot by Dick Forss in the 35th minute of play forced AB Tårnby's goalkeeper Patrik Reitov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patrik Reitov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingvar Kvist in the 46th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Timmy Nyman made a kick off. After a rather tough play, AB Tårnby's Lynge Millnes got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Patrik Reitov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timmy Nyman, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Lynge Millness short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Jim Hultman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Evert Frykberg during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
