FALCÕES VERDES's attentive Juvenal Urbano managed to snatch the ball when Jones Cudmore made a throw-in in the 3rd minute of the game. Umberto Cunha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pietro Santos's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Dennis Maranzano kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Xande Sharkin took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Thomás Fernandes to make any attempt to save it. 20 minutes into the match, FALCÕES VERDES's goal looked a bit too open when Qiao Ang Le came free, but Thomás Fernandes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute, Pietro Santos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FALCÕES VERDES fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Pietro Santos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Umberto Cunha having to make a save. Thomás Fernandes made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Xande Sharkin sent off a good shot on target. Thomás Fernandes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Qiao Ang Le's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Umberto Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pietro Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thomás Fernandes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lu Xing Song in the 37th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pietro Santos in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Umberto Cunha saved Pégasus F. C. from getting behind. Jones Cudmore kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pietro Santos was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Paulo José Barral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomás Fernandes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pégasus F. C.'s goalkeeper Umberto Cunha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A hard shot 56 in the game by Pietro Santos from a close distance when the talented Umberto Cunha managed to make a qualified save. Pégasus F. C.'s players were relieved. Thomás Fernandes came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Pégasus F. C.'s Qiao Ang Le. But to his dismay, Qiao Ang Le quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. FALCÕES VERDES made a substitution. Gugu Mello replaced Juvenal Urbano. FALCÕES VERDES's Betinho Lenzi was substituted for Pietro Santos. Umberto Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gugu Mello, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 65th minute Gugu Mello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Umberto Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Betinho Lenzi got free with Umberto Cunha in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Pégasus F. C.'s Umberto Cunha got control of the ball when Betinho Lenzi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pégasus F. C. made a substitution. Chupan Mangas replaced Hílton Albuquerque. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gugu Mello in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Umberto Cunha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredão Oliveira in the 72nd minute of play forced FALCÕES VERDES's goalkeeper Thomás Fernandes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FALCÕES VERDES's Sílvio Luís Gerber was substituted for Lucjan Winograd. Dennis Maranzano charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dennis Maranzano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 77 played minutes FALCÕES VERDES got a freekick which was hit by Dennis Maranzano. Lorenzo Leiva took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Thomás Fernandes. FALCÕES VERDES's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Xande Sharkin took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thomás Fernandes. Thomás Fernandes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gugu Mello in the 84th minute of play forced Pégasus F. C.'s goalkeeper Umberto Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gugu Mellos short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Umberto Cunha to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Betinho Lenzi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Umberto Cunha made a huge save. 88 minutes into the match, Betinho Lenzi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Umberto Cunha, 3-2. After 91st play minutes Gugu Mello shot 3-3, a short shot which went by Umberto Cunha and just under the crossbar into goal. Betinho Lenzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pégasus F. C.'s Umberto Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gugu Mello in the 95th minute of play. The whistle blew for the end of the second half and the match was still tied. The players were able to take a short break before lining up again for extra-time.
All the players looked a little tired when it was time for the first half of the overtime. It was Pégasus F. C.'s Alfredão Oliveira that got to make the kick off. Umberto Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gugu Mello in the 100th minute of play. In the 102nd match minute, Pégasus F. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rein Rajur to maneuver through the defense. Umberto Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Betinho Lenzi in the 103rd minute of the match. Umberto Cunha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gugu Mello's shot from short distance in the 104th minute. After 105 minutes, Gugu Mello made it 3-4 with a short kick to the right side. Pégasus F. C.'s Umberto Cunha tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The FALCÕES VERDES supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FALCÕES VERDES would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
