Strib Galacticos IF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arlindo Queiroz ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Arlindo Queiroz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Janich Sodborg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 14th match minute, Miau Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isac Zbughină to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute of the match Carlos Berbiz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abdulkadir Eraslan skillfully saved the ball. Strib Galacticos IF's Carlos Berbiz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Abdulkadir Eraslan in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Felix Fanøe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abdulkadir Eraslan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Pedro Nyaa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arlindo Queiroz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Janich Sodborg. Strib Galacticos IF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Janich Sodborg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Menderes Taif, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the match, Miau Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Berbiz came free, but Abdulkadir Eraslan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Janich Sodborg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Menderes Taif in the 35th minute. Ronaldo Fenomeno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Janich Sodborg having to interfere. Ronaldo Fenomeno struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Janich Sodborg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Miau Stars. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Fanøe in the 44th minute of play forced Miau Stars's goalkeeper Abdulkadir Eraslan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th match minute, Miau Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arlindo Queiroz to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mads Aarum to strike the kick off in the second half. Janich Sodborg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldo Fenomeno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abdulkadir Eraslan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Fanøe in the 53rd minute. After a rather tough play, Strib Galacticos IF's Qu Fan Yang got a free kick in the 54th minute. Robbin Moreaux hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Miau Stars's Abdulkadir Eraslan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mads Aarum in the 64th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Battal Gazi Saltuk in the 65th minute of play forced Strib Galacticos IF's goalkeeper Janich Sodborg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Mads Aarum fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Strib Galacticos IF's protests and gave Mads Aarum a yellow card for diving instead. Mads Aarum hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. 67 minutes into the match, Strib Galacticos IF's goal looked a bit too open when Menderes Taif came free, but Janich Sodborg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Miau Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Mads Aarum came free, but Abdulkadir Eraslan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Battal Gazi Saltuk in the 74th minute of play forced Strib Galacticos IF's goalkeeper Janich Sodborg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felix Fanøe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Abdulkadir Eraslan made a huge save. In the 93rd minute, Strib Galacticos IF's Felix Fanøe ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Abdulkadir Eraslan. Abdulkadir Eraslan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Neither Miau Stars or Strib Galacticos IF succeeded in finding a winner during the second half. That meant the players faced another 30 minutes of extra-time.

With new strength the players walked out on the field for the first half of overtime. Ronaldo Fenomeno in Miau Stars was the one to initiate the kick off. Janich Sodborg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Naldo Jacinto in the 101st minute. Abdulkadir Eraslan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felix Fanøe's shot from short distance in the 102nd minute. 105 minutes into the match, Miau Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Fanøe came free, but Abdulkadir Eraslan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 107th minute the ball was on its way in behind Miau Stars's goalkeeper Abdulkadir Eraslan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Felix Fanøe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 109th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Miau Stars's Naldo Jacinto got a good chance for a goal in the 114th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With the score at 1-1, the referee blew for the end of the half. The players got a few minutes to recover before they had to start the second half of extra-time.

120 minutes in the game Zeca Lima did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Menderes Taif. Mads Aarum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 125th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Janich Sodborg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Menderes Taif, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 129 minutes into the game, Mads Aarum cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Abdulkadir Eraslan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Miau Stars supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Strib Galacticos IF's performance. The match ended with a win for Strib Galacticos IF.
