After 11 minutes of play, Merengue FC's Aquiles Urtsin made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Milan Krása was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 13th minute Gavin Sawbridge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bayan Gugovski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bayan Gugovski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mason Greenwood, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 25 minutes into the match, Merengue FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gavin Sawbridge came free, but Bayan Gugovski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Gavin Sawbridge had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bayan Gugovski. Merengue FC:s Bayan Gugovski showed great skill when he stopped Mason Greenwood:s penalty. Ediberto Sampaio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Milan Krása. FC Kopeto's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aquiles Urtsin got free with Milan Krása in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 41 minutes into the match, Merengue FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gavin Sawbridge came free, but Bayan Gugovski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mason Greenwood to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, FC Kopeto's goal looked a bit too open when Aquiles Urtsin came free, but Milan Krása reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute of the match FC Kopeto got a corner. Merengue FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vratislav Koželuh ran over to the corner to take the kick. Bayan Gugovski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Přemysl Pavka went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Bayan Gugovski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanislav Hajduk in the 73rd minute of the match. Mason Greenwood was extremely unlucky when he, in the 75th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Mason Greenwood sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Karel Hanousek managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Kopeto's supporters rose to their feet, but Karel Hanousek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bayan Gugovski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquiles Urtsin in the 80th minute of play forced FC Kopeto's goalkeeper Milan Krása to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mason Greenwood got free with Bayan Gugovski in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bayan Gugovski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stanislav Hajduk in the 95th minute of play. In the 97th minute FC Kopeto were awarded a corner. Vratislav Koželuh went to the cornerflag to take it.

The FC Kopeto supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Kopeto would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
