Herbert Oliszewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Ülger in the 8th minute of play. After a rather tough play, KS LEW Chorzów's Robert Bugajski got a free kick in the 9th minute. KS LEW Chorzów's Herbert Oliszewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Vennersten in the 10th minute of play. KD Stiger's Benjamin Blixt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Campana in the 11th minute of play. Herbert Oliszewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Ülger in the 16th minute of play. Benjamin Blixt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Campana, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 30th minute Edgar Degas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Blixt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benjamin Blixt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Degas in the 36th minute of play. Benjamin Blixt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Campana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to KS LEW Chorzów getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Dariusz Misiewicz hit a great ball.

KD Stiger's Santiago Ascacíbar was substituted for Karl-Michael Ersman. The wind increased when Edgar Degas made the kick off in the second half. Benjamin Blixt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Degas, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After 59 minutes, Robert Bugajski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KS LEW Chorzów and the KD Stiger players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, KS LEW Chorzów's Robert Bugajski got a free kick in the 59th minute. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by KD Stiger's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dariusz Misiewicz was slow to take the kick. During this time KS LEW Chorzów's players had a chance to rest. With 66 minutes on the clock, Benjamin Gold commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Benjamin Blixt had in the 68thth minute some difficulties stopping Roland Muusik's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Vennersten in the 69th minute of play forced KS LEW Chorzów's goalkeeper Herbert Oliszewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roland Muusik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Blixt having to interfere. If Leo Campana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the match, KS LEW Chorzów's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Vennersten came free, but Herbert Oliszewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 84 minutes KS LEW Chorzów's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gunnar Bållström who took care of the corner kick. Gunnar Bållström made a great header on KD Stiger's corner, it was just that KS LEW Chorzów's Herbert Oliszewski managed to reach the ball for a save. When Gunnar Bållström came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the KD Stiger fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gunnar Bållström couldn't finish the play. Dariusz Misiewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. That meant the players faced another 30 minutes of extra-time.

With new strength the players walked out on the field for the first half of overtime. Dan Vennersten in KD Stiger was the one to initiate the kick off. In the 110th minute Dan Vennersten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbert Oliszewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of KD Stiger booed when KS LEW Chorzów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 115 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Bugajski didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Vennersten in the 118th minute of play forced KS LEW Chorzów's goalkeeper Herbert Oliszewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The KD Stiger players wondered just what they needed to do win this one. 105 minutes had now been played and the teams were still tied. Penalties were starting to look likely.

Both teams seemed ready to fight when KS LEW Chorzów's Edgar Degas did the kick off and started the second half in the overtime. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leo Campana got free with Benjamin Blixt in the 122nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 127th minute Santiago Ascacíbar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbert Oliszewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Herbert Oliszewski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benjamin Ülger went, in the 130th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score.
