Marco Pero might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Máximo Correia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marco Pero ran back to his position shaking his head. Máximo Correia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Pero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 0-1 became the score in the 32nd minute when Marco Pero elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 35 minutes into the game, Deng Jie Wei cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Tiburcio Gaueko was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marco Pero took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Máximo Correia. Máximo Correia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Ladoeiro No RuleZ FC 2010's Deng Jie Wei got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Academia FC's Aurelio Soin was substituted for Marco Pero. In the 68th minute, Aurelio Soin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Máximo Correia was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Jorge Cabrera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiburcio Gaueko having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ladoeiro No RuleZ FC 2010's Quirce Carro got a free kick in the 80th minute. Ladoeiro No RuleZ FC 2010's Romeo Pio quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Vasile Ştirbu, made in the 85th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Ladoeiro No RuleZ FC 2010 defense, Aurelio Soin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Máximo Correia. The Ladoeiro No RuleZ FC 2010 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Máximo Correia should have stopped the shot. In the 94th minute, Jairo Nuxila got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 96 minutes, 刘霆鹏 mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Academia FC and the Ladoeiro No RuleZ FC 2010 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th minute, one of Academia FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Academia FC. In the 97th minute there was a penalty for Ladoeiro No RuleZ FC 2010. Deng Jie Wei stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tiburcio Gaueko. 3-5. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Academia FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
