A throw-in in the 15th minute of the game was made by Veli Uzalp with Türker Türkoğlu as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. With a little luck, Soυlғly FC's Aşkın Özgunes got control of the ball when Epifanio Aznar tried to sneak it across the goal line. With 25 minutes on the clock, Denis Barber commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 24th minute, one of Osmanlı İmparatorluğu:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Osmanlı İmparatorluğu. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Richard Rodrigues managed to get in a good position for a shot. Osmanlı İmparatorluğu's supporters rose to their feet, but Richard Rodrigues was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aşkın Özgunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emrah Öztay kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Richard Rodrigues to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Emrah Öztay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aşkın Özgunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led Osmanlı İmparatorluğu's Atahan Balyemez to fire away a dangerous shot which Aşkın Özgunes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Bozkurt Veysi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Yunus-Emre Balcik made a huge save. Aşkın Özgunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Rodrigues, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Yunus-Emre Balcik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enver İlsu in the 65th minute. After a rather tough play, Soυlғly FC's Nebi Akkaynak got a free kick in the 66th minute. Osmanlı İmparatorluğu's İnanç İrem was substituted for Baltasar Amaya. After 68 played minutes Soυlғly FC got a freekick which was hit by Nebi Akkaynak. Yunus-Emre Balcik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bumin Kağan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vahdet Ulumeriç in the 73rd minute of play forced Soυlғly FC's goalkeeper Aşkın Özgunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 77 minutes of play, Soυlғly FC's Enver İlsu made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yunus-Emre Balcik was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 80th minute, Soυlғly FC's Bumin Kağan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Yunus-Emre Balcik. Yunus-Emre Balcik yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. After some careless play in the Osmanlı İmparatorluğu defense, Enver İlsu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yunus-Emre Balcik. The Osmanlı İmparatorluğu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yunus-Emre Balcik should have stopped the shot. In the 93rd minute, Türker Türkoğlu made a precise shot to the right of Yunus-Emre Balcik. Osmanlı İmparatorluğu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5.

The Soυlғly FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Soυlғly FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
