Pirmin Jäggi hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Lionel Paly was out of position in the 8 minute of play, and Liu Ke Yu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Liu Ke Yu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Wilbert Montoya lost his temper 13 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 12 minutes into the game, one of Real Madrid:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Real Madrid:s Esteban Beti showed great skill when he stopped Emilio De Luca:s penalty. 15 minutes into the game, FC Wil 1900's Emilio De Luca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Esteban Beti made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Esteban Beti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tory Pryor, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tory Pryor in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Esteban Beti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Esteban Beti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pirmin Jäggi in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute FC Wil 1900 were awarded a corner. Emilio De Luca went to the cornerflag to take it. A collision led to FC Wil 1900 getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Pirmin Jäggi hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute Mateusz Heide shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lionel Paly saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esteban Beti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tory Pryor in the 34th minute of play. Lionel Paly stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Liu Ke Yu's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. After some careless play in the Real Madrid defense, Tory Pryor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Esteban Beti. The Real Madrid fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Esteban Beti should have stopped the shot. FC Wil 1900's Lionel Paly proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save FC Wil 1900 from getting a goal against them. Liu Ke Yu hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Esteban Beti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Georges Gladu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tory Pryor was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tory Pryor got free with Esteban Beti in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Real Madrid's Esteban Beti got control of the ball when Emery Heller tried to sneak it across the goal line. Esteban Beti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tory Pryor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Esteban Beti made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Pirmin Jäggi sent off a good shot on target. Liu Ke Yu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lionel Paly having to interfere. Lionel Paly took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liu Ke Yu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes into the match, Real Madrid's goalkeeper Esteban Beti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pirmin Jäggi. In the 69th minute, Emilio De Luca made a precise shot to the right of Esteban Beti. Real Madrid's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Real Madrid made a substitution. Zygmunt Burowski replaced Mateusz Heide. Esteban Beti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Téo Rosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 75 minutes into the match, Real Madrid's goal looked a bit too open when Téo Rosa came free, but Esteban Beti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Liu Ke Yu was slow to take the kick. During this time Real Madrid's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Linus Vaksdal managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Beniamin Krzynowek kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Emilio De Luca managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Wil 1900's supporters rose to their feet, but Emilio De Luca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esteban Beti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Esteban Beti came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Wil 1900's Téo Rosa. But to his dismay, Téo Rosa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-7. Lionel Paly showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulgencio Fero in the 95th minute of the match. When the match was over FC Wil 1900 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Real Madrid throughout the match.
