Jorge Oberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingmar Jespersson in the 15th minute of the match. Ingmar Jespersson made a great header on Överås IK's corner, it was just that Buenaventura FC's Jorge Oberto managed to reach the ball for a save. 17 minutes into the game, Franklin Zambrano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Buenaventura FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Överås IK the free kick. A collision led to Buenaventura FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Franklin Zambrano hit a great ball. In the 21st minute, Franklin Zambrano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joseph Vibjörnsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franklin Zambrano in the 31st minute of the match. Franklin Zambrano scored 0-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joseph Vibjörnsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Franklin Zambrano sped through Överås IK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Joseph Vibjörnsson. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Viktor Hybbert was the one to do the kick off. In the 61st minute Jörn Lundin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Oberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joseph Vibjörnsson was a little too slow when Franklin Zambrano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 0-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonidas Escalona during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Buenaventura FC's Leonidas Escalona got a free kick in the 68th minute. From close distance Franklin Zambrano pressed in the 0-4 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 70 minutes into the game. After 75 played minutes Överås IK got a freekick which was hit by Elliott Ahlgren. 0-5 became the score in the 80th minute when Franklin Zambrano elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Andres Rios took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Joseph Vibjörnsson. Överås IK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 87th minute Orlando Ramírez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joseph Vibjörnsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Överås IK's Joseph Vibjörnsson got control of the ball when Orlando Ramírez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ingmar Jespersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Oberto having to interfere. The Överås IK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Buenaventura FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Buenaventura FC.
