Peter Pihlgren helped the player get up and apologised. Renatinho Urbano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Sven-Olof Gudmundsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 24 minutes of play, ITAFUT 4EVER's Evair Palmeira made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sven-Olof Gudmundsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sven-Olof Gudmundsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valério Fernandes went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Peter Pihlgren kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 33 minutes into the game, Evair Palmeira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Sven-Olof Gudmundsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 38 minutes into the match, Pedro Luiz Perez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sven-Olof Gudmundsson. Bloodthirsty FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedro Luiz Perez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Renatinho Urbano scored 0-7 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sven-Olof Gudmundsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sven-Olof Gudmundsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valério Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Evair Palmeira to make the kick off. With a little luck, Bloodthirsty FC's Sven-Olof Gudmundsson got control of the ball when Evair Palmeira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Evair Palmeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Bloodthirsty FC's zone, Beto Viana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven-Olof Gudmundsson came out of the goal and Beto Viana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 60 minutes into the match, Bloodthirsty FC's goalkeeper Sven-Olof Gudmundsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Renatinho Urbano. After 60 played minutes ITAFUT 4EVER got a freekick which was hit by Valério Fernandes. Sven-Olof Gudmundsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guto de Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Guto de Castro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sven-Olof Gudmundsson. That made the score 0-8 in the 64 minute of play. Bloodthirsty FC's Sven-Olof Gudmundsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evair Palmeira in the 67th minute of play. If Beto Viana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute of the match, Zé Paulo Gerber tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sven-Olof Gudmundsson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Evair Palmeira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Sven-Olof Gudmundsson made a huge save. ITAFUT 4EVER made a substitution. Beto Aparecido replaced Guto de Castro. Beto Aparecido might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sven-Olof Gudmundsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Beto Aparecido ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match was over ITAFUT 4EVER could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bloodthirsty FC throughout the match.
