Guilherme Abud started the match with the kick off. DENVER™'s Toninho Pinheiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save DENVER™ from getting a goal against them. After 8 minutes DENVER™'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Betão dos Santos who took care of the corner kick. Marquês de Herval's Betão dos Santos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Toninho Pinheiro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Carlos Fernando Fantini received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Toninho Pinheiro came out and tried to block the shot, but Carlos Fernando Fantini slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 18th minute. After 21 minutes DENVER™'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Betão dos Santos who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Betão dos Santos almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but DENVER™'s Toninho Pinheiro did a great save. In the 32nd minute, Carlos Fernando Fantini reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Toninho Pinheiro. The goal made the score 4-0. 37 minutes into the match, Alfredo Martins had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Toninho Pinheiro. DENVER™'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfredo Martins was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. If Alfredo Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfredo Martins was the one to do the kick off. Betão dos Santos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Toninho Pinheiro having to make a save. Toninho Pinheiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Betão dos Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Alfredo Martins sped through DENVER™'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Toninho Pinheiro. When Guilherme Abud fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DENVER™'s protests and gave Guilherme Abud a yellow card for diving instead. Toninho Pinheiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Martins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to DENVER™ getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Denver Ponta hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Alfredo Martins's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Toninho Pinheiro was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. With 81 minutes on the clock, Denver Volante commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in DENVER™ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 81st minute. Penalty! Toninho Pinheiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Fernando Fantini's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Carlos Fernando Fantini scored 11-0 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Toninho Pinheiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alfredo Martins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toninho Pinheiro having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Carlos Fernando Fantini notched a goal, 12-0, to the right of DENVER™'s Toninho Pinheiro. Toninho Pinheiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alfredo Martins took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Toninho Pinheiro. Toninho Pinheiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 13-0. Marquês de Herval's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
