Carlos Taillade was slow to take the kick. During this time Lunar Park's players had a chance to rest. In the 25th minute, Luisito Hernando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of TOP™ O Justiceiro MZ booed when Lunar Park was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Derviş Okan didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Gareth Avalos came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the TOP™ O Justiceiro MZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gareth Avalos couldn't finish the play. Cedric Van Langhendoncx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 31 played minutes Fabien Canu rounded TOP™ O Justiceiro MZ's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. The audience was convinced that Magno Amaral's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cedric Van Langhendoncx was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Cedric Van Langhendoncx didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dedê Simão went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. 41 minutes into the game, Téo Vale threw the ball into play from the sideline. Lunar Park's Tomasz Juzda quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The crowd rose to their feet as Fabien Canu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Reinaldo de Carvalho. That made the score 4-1 in the 42 minute of play. Lunar Park's Dobromir Domalik managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Waldir de Carvalho in the 94 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dedê Simão in the 96th minute of play forced Lunar Park's goalkeeper Cedric Van Langhendoncx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
