Marquinhos Santos started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amauri de Lima during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Xapetuba Futebol Clube's Amauri de Lima got a free kick in the 4th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Marquinhos Santos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Célio do Valle. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. Flávio Matos was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 10 minutes into the match. 16 minutes into the match, Xapetuba Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Célio do Valle had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marquinhos Santos. Jarbas Quadros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick Neiva in the 19th minute of the match. Xapetuba Futebol Clube's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Marquinhos Santos scored to the left of an out of position Célio do Valle, making the score, 3-0. 27 minutes into the match, Marquinhos Santos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Célio do Valle, 4-0. 32 minutes into the match, PREZULO FC's Marquinhos Santos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Célio do Valle narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Célio do Valle was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marquinhos Santos showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 37 minute of play. Marquinhos Santos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Célio do Valle having to make a save. Bernardo Soares might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jarbas Quadros. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bernardo Soares ran back to his position shaking his head. Jarbas Quadros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Soares, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Patrick Neiva to strike the kick off in the second half. Célio do Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marquinhos Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 54 minutes into the game, Marquinhos Santos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Célio do Valle was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Célio do Valle came out of the goal and Marquinhos Santos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 80th minute, Isaac Ferreira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Marquinhos Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 86 minutes, Isaac Ferreira made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. Xapetuba Futebol Clube's Célio do Valle tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Ferreira in the 89th minute of play forced Xapetuba Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Célio do Valle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ana Cristina kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the PREZULO FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
