Xapetuba Futebol Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marino Montrelle was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 24 minutes into the match, Pó de DiaManTe FMZ 4ÉVER's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Paraíba came free, but Filiberto Sancho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But to his dismay, Augusto Consalvi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patrick Neiva to make the kick off. Xapetuba Futebol Clube's Célio do Valle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Consalvi in the 54th minute of play. Xapetuba Futebol Clube's Célio do Valle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Xapetuba Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. 62 minutes into the game, Augusto Consalvi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Célio do Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 97th minute, Pó de DiaManTe FMZ 4ÉVER's Roegelio Igual ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Célio do Valle. Célio do Valle yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-9. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Pó de DiaManTe FMZ 4ÉVER eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
