Dionisio Raphael made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Iurie Ilie sent off a good shot on target. Gustavo-Hernán Cabezudo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dionisio Raphael having to interfere. PINGO PINGO's Dionisio Raphael proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save PINGO PINGO from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as THE CRYSTAL SHIP's Gustavo-Hernán Cabezudo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dionisio Raphael. That made the score 1-0 after 21 minutes of play. In the 23rd minute Alvaro Micarelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Tarcu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. PINGO PINGO's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joga Bem in the 25th minute. Dionisio Raphael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cris Gol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by PINGO PINGO's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Iurie Ilie was slow to take the kick. During this time THE CRYSTAL SHIP's players had a chance to rest. PINGO PINGO's Dionisio Raphael proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save PINGO PINGO from getting a goal against them. In the 32nd minute Cris Gol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dionisio Raphael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute, Alvaro Micarelli left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PINGO PINGO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. THE CRYSTAL SHIP were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after PINGO PINGO's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Iurie Ilie took the corner. Alvaro Micarelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. THE CRYSTAL SHIP's Robert Tarcu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Micarelli in the 42nd minute of play. Robert Tarcu came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by PINGO PINGO's Alvaro Micarelli. But to his dismay, Alvaro Micarelli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alvaro Micarelli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jaspar De Weijgaert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dionisio Raphael having to interfere. In the 56th minute of the match PINGO PINGO got a corner. THE CRYSTAL SHIP's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joga Bem ran over to the corner to take the kick. Alvaro Micarelli received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Robert Tarcu came out and tried to block the shot, but Alvaro Micarelli slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 64th minute. PINGO PINGO's Filip Josefsson was substituted for Alvaro Micarelli. Gregorio Tancoš hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. PINGO PINGO's Dionisio Raphael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iurie Ilie in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75th minute, Iurie Ilie made a precise shot to the right of Dionisio Raphael. PINGO PINGO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. The audience was convinced that Jaspar De Weijgaert's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dionisio Raphael was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. In the 84th minute of the match, Paulo José de Carvalho tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Robert Tarcu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 87th match minute, THE CRYSTAL SHIP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Borys Dudek to maneuver through the defense. Robert Tarcu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filip Josefsson in the 88th minute. After having played for 91 minutes, Jaspar De Weijgaert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. THE CRYSTAL SHIP's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaspar De Weijgaert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 92 minutes into the match, PINGO PINGO's goal looked a bit too open when Jaspar De Weijgaert came free, but Dionisio Raphael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robert Tarcu was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Filip Josefsson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Filip Josefsson really showed his touch with that goal: 2-4. 97 minutes into the match, PINGO PINGO's Filip Josefsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Robert Tarcu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see THE CRYSTAL SHIP lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
