The audience thought a goal was coming when Luis Bonet got free with Carles Olle in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 13 minutes into the match, Daustad's Luis Bonet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carles Olle narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Peng Yong Guang managed to get in a good position for a shot. VILLARREAL UNITED's supporters rose to their feet, but Peng Yong Guang was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jo Øverås breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Luis Bonet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 22nd minute Valentin Voicu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jo Øverås saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carles Olle was a little too slow when Luis Bonet got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 2-0. 30 minutes into the match, Daustad's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Voicu came free, but Jo Øverås reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Voicu in the 30th minute of play forced Daustad's goalkeeper Jo Øverås to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Daustad's Luis Bonet nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carles Olle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Carles Olle made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Luis Bonet sent off a good shot on target. Jo Øverås took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Voicu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. VILLARREAL UNITED's Johan Öman managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Pelle Anundsson in the 46 minute of the game. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luis Bonet stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jo Øverås showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Voicu, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the last second Jo Øverås throw himself and got hold of the ball when Valentin Voicu in the 54thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The throw-in from Caio Winter in the 59th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by VILLARREAL UNITED's Johan Öman. VILLARREAL UNITED's Nofre Madariaga was substituted for Zadornin Puig. With a little luck, Daustad's Jo Øverås got control of the ball when Pacôme Daire tried to sneak it across the goal line. 66 minutes into the game, Yusuf Kaya lined in a short shot 3-1 behind a frustrated Jo Øverås. Pacôme Daire could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Jo Øverås made a huge save. A collision led to Daustad getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Caio Winter hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Luis Bonet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Daustad's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Bonet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carles Olle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alonzo Egun hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute of the match, Pacôme Daire got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jo Øverås was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Johan Öman hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Jo Øverås showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yusuf Kaya in the 89th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Luis Bonet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carles Olle. VILLARREAL UNITED's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luis Bonet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the VILLARREAL UNITED players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Daustad.
