Mafia Koniaka's Walery Balkiewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrew Dalli in the 14th minute of play. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Esmeralda AFC's goalkeeper Jorge Armani, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Esmeralda AFC were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after Mafia Koniaka's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kong Kun Xu took the corner. Cecilio Otsando charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cecilio Otsando the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 28th match minute, Esmeralda AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cecilio Otsando to maneuver through the defense. Jorge Armani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radomil Dudkowski in the 30th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Lisandro Iraunkor made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eloy Calvino in the 51st minute of play forced Mafia Koniaka's goalkeeper Walery Balkiewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jorge Armani didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lisandro Iraunkor went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. In the 57th minute, Eloy Calvino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Esmeralda AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. In the 68th minute, Esmeralda AFC's David Banegas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Walery Balkiewicz. Walery Balkiewicz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-3. Mafia Koniaka's Victorio Oliverios was substituted for Stasio Wyrzykowski. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filipo Inzaghi in the 73rd minute of play forced Esmeralda AFC's goalkeeper Jorge Armani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
